At the National Autistic Society, we are dedicated to creating a society that works for autistic people. We work to transform lives by providing support, information and practical advice for autistic children, adults, and their families.
We created Autism Support Plus in direct response to the huge delays and long fights autistic people and their families currently face to get basic support. As the UK’s charity for autistic people, we work with partners like you — employers, charities, and professional organisations — so the people you support can thrive in their communities, homes, and workplaces.
The need
The autistic people and family members supported by your organisation are facing significant challenges at every stage of life. Sadly, we know that autistic people have a lower life expectancy than non-autistic people on average and are more at risk of suicidal thoughts. Every day, autistic people have to find their way in a world that is not designed with diverse needs in mind and are denied the same opportunities as non-autistic people.
Right now: These shocking statistics represent real people in distress and families struggling to overcome barriers. Your organisation can be part of the solution.

How Autism Support Plus helps
Autism Support Plus is a flexible, bespoke service that connects your members, beneficiaries or employees to practical, empathetic, and expert led autism support tailored to the stage of life they are in, and the challenges they face.
For the people you support, it means:
- Less stress navigating complex systems.
- Support that meets their or their child’s needs.
- A better chance to thrive in daily life, education and work - “I felt they went above and beyond to help...I came off the phone feeling lighter!" – Parent of an autistic child
For your organisation, it means:
- Fulfilling your commitment to wellbeing, inclusion and offering meaningful support to autistic people.
- Complementing your organisation’s existing support offerings with exclusive customisable services backed by evidence and expertise.
- A cost-effective service that delivers meaningful benefits, ensuring your investment leads to real, measurable change.
- Regular communication and reports to evidence how your funds have been used and the impact of our partnership.
